True Anomaly has been selected to deliver its Mosaic software for the U.S. Space Force’s (USSF) Advanced Battle Management “Kronos” program, one of the service’s largest and most complex Battle Management software programs of record within the USSF.
Under a Commercial Solutions Opening (CSO) award, True Anomaly will deliver Mosaic’s large-scale target pairing and asset orchestration capabilities that help operators match available assets to mission requirements and achieve the desired effects across the battlespace.
Kronos is the first true combined arms upgrade for the USSF: a comprehensive initiative to modernize operational command and control (C2), battle management, and space intelligence through an integrated family of systems. The program is managed under the Battle Management, Command, Control, Communications, and Space Intelligence (BMC3I) Portfolio Acquisition Executive and Space Systems Command’s System Delta 85 (SYD 85), which is designed to integrate disparate ground, air, sea, and space systems to enable coordinated effects across warfighting domains, at scale.
For Kronos, True Anomaly will leverage its mission autonomy software platform, Mosaic, to achieve large-scale resource target pairing and asset orchestration. Utilizing advanced AI algorithms, the software simulates and quantifies complex interactions across heterogenous fleets of assets against evading adversaries, providing metric-backed and traceable answers to operators and decision makers.
Built for multi-domain orchestration, Mosaic gives operators the ability to observe, orient, decide, and act with unmatched precision and speed across a contested orbital environment, automating and accelerating the historically slow, manual process of turning warfighter intent into action on orbit.
True Anomaly is the only company with both a battle management platform and space vehicle ground system capable of native interoperability, allowing USSF operators to fight more effectively across combined arms operations, a requirement of the Objective Force 2040, the Space Force’s blueprint for decisive space superiority capability over the next 15 years.
Sourced under the CSO’s Area of Interest (AOI) focused on Battle Management, the program reflects a significant shift in how the Government acquires capabilities for the warfighter: working with commercial companies to acquire novel capabilities that integrate into existing systems, rather than buying standalone subsystems that must be stitched together or operated in siloes. The speed of Mosaic's delivery for Kronos reflects the urgency of the moment to get advanced capabilities into the hands of warfighters at operationally relevant speeds.
We believe that purpose-built products, developed from deep domain experience, result in mission-capable platforms in a fraction of the time. This process allows the U.S. Government to harness the innovation and investment of private capital to deliver products that warfighters need, now.
True Anomaly's award under the Kronos program validates our approach and the strategic value supplying purpose-built, multi-domain solutions that can augment existing defense programs. This award positions Mosaic as a foundational component in the future of military spacepower, and we are incredibly proud to deliver against the need of the warfighter.
True Anomaly delivers decisive capabilities for space superiority. We build autonomous spacecraft, advanced payloads, mission software, and space-based interceptors. Our products enable the U.S. and its Allies to secure the space enviroment and counter threats from the ultimate high ground.
